Aircraft Twirls Out of Control into Palm Groves at Well-Known California Beach
A chopper flying near a crowded southern California coastline abruptly started spinning out of control, finally losing altitude and crashing into a row of palm trees as beachgoers watched.
Recordings shared on the internet depict the aircraft commencing to spiral above the shoreline then falling near the edge of the beach, where it ends up lodged between palms and a steps near the shoreline route.
Rescue Operation Details
The Huntington Beach fire department reported five people were taken to hospital involving two individuals who were in the chopper and were “rescued from the debris” after the incident on that day.
Three individuals on the pavement were harmed. Specifics on their injuries were still under review.
What led to the incident was still under investigation.
